• Sourcing request details — product specifications, materials, target pricing, quantities, delivery destinations, and any files or images you upload;
• Billing information — processed by our third-party payment processor (Stripe); we do not store full credit card numbers on our own servers;
• Communications — messages you send us or through our platform, including chats with our AI sourcing agent, support requests, and Supplier correspondence facilitated through the Services.

Information collected automatically:

• Usage data — pages visited, features used, timestamps, and general interaction data;
• Device and log data — IP address, browser type, operating system, and referring URLs;
• Cookies and similar technologies — used to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and understand how the Services are used (see Section 6).

2. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Match your sourcing requests with relevant Suppliers and generate quotes;
• Operate, maintain, and improve the Services, including our AI sourcing agent;
• Process subscription payments and manage your account;
• Communicate with you about your requests, quotes, account, and updates to the Services;
• Coordinate logistics, customs, and delivery support on Human-Supported plans;
• Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, or violations of our Terms of Service;
• Comply with legal obligations.

3. How We Share Information

We share information in the following circumstances:

• With Suppliers — sourcing request details necessary to obtain quotes on your behalf (we do not share your full account or billing information with Suppliers);
• With service providers — including our hosting infrastructure (Supabase, Vercel), payment processor (Stripe), email delivery provider (Resend), CRM/pipeline tooling (Airtable), and AI processing provider (Anthropic), each of which processes data solely on our behalf and under contractual confidentiality obligations;
• For legal reasons — where required by law, subpoena, or other legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of QuotesAgent, our users, or others;
• In a business transfer — in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of company assets, subject to standard confidentiality protections.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

4. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed for these purposes, we delete or anonymize it.

5. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at hello@quotesagent.com. We will respond in accordance with applicable law.

If you are a California resident, you may have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what categories of personal information we collect and the right to request deletion. We do not sell personal information as defined under the CCPA.

Because QuotesAgent works with Suppliers and service providers across multiple countries, your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in countries other than your own, including the United States, China, and countries in Latin America. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

9. Children's Privacy

The Services are intended for business use by individuals 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the applicable age of digital consent in your jurisdiction). If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us at hello@quotesagent.com and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide reasonable notice, such as by posting a notice on the Services or updating the "Last updated" date above.
